**About the Role**
Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced People & Culture Manager. Reporting and working closely with the CEO, this role will be responsible for the Management of the Human Resources function and provide expert advice to the ELT and SLT in relation to all HR, ER and IR related matters. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Head Office that combines practical, hands-on responsibilities with a strategic focus.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing and guiding a competent HR team to ensure all people related activities are implemented and adhered to.
- Ensure HR objectives and key performance indicators are in line with strategic business deliverables.
- Working with Recruitment & Mobilisation Advisor, implement and develop recruitment strategies to meet all project and Head Office resourcing requirements.
- Preparing and reviewing all employment related documentation including position descriptions, HR policies, contracts of employment and corporate templates.
- Ensure company remuneration bandings and rostering or other policies are complied with and appropriate approvals in place where special arrangements may apply.
- Implementing remuneration, reward and incentive schemes to attract and retain key employees.
- Maintain preferred providers for Immigration management and review costings and service agreements annually.
- Develop minimum qualifications and internal training requirements for all salaried roles.
- Manage the annual HR budget ensuring it does not exceed requirements unless directed by the CEO.
- Manage projects expectations and requirements in relation to recruitment, mobilisation, performance management, industrial agreements, and termination procedures; ensure compliance and paperwork completion.
- Manage internal databases including Flare and LiveHire to ensure procedures and processes are compliant and maintained.
**About You**
- Bachelor of Human Resources and/or Business Degree or equivalent experience with AHRI membership highly desirable.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a HR Management role ideally in the construction, engineering and/or similar industry is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of HR practices and applicable employee relations legislation, including Fair Work Act, Equal Opportunity, State and Federal Awards, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
- Qualified Mental Health First Aider desirable or willing to complete relevant training.
- High-level attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills managing stakeholders of all levels.
- Strong leadership capability to mentor and develop team members.
