We are currently looking for a motivated Document Management Officer to join the Records team in our Drummoyne Civic Centre location who has excellent research and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
The Document Management Officer is instrumental to our core business of Council’s records and information management along with the responsibility of creating and processing incoming correspondence relating to Council’s business in Council’s Electronic Document Management System. Assisting in ensuring the integrity of Council Records and providing exceptional customer service skills and ability to manage multiple tasks meeting timelines.
**About you**:
- Enthusiastic, committed team member with experience in providing information and records assistance.
- Demonstrated experience in digital and physical records management.
- Knowledge of the State Records Act and working knowledge of the Government Information Public Access Act.
- Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to priorities task and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team in a professional and positive manner whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters.
- Experience with MS Office and Record Management Systems (Tech1 experience desirable).
- Previous experience working in a Record keeping Environment (Desired).
