**The Team**

Our team delivers operational and strategic projects in support of Sportsbet’s Marketing, Customer Engagement, Product, Risk & Trading teams. There is a real opportunity for the right person to shape this high-profile role and add significant value across the business.

**The Role**

Deliver small and large projects across the whole of Sportsbet including Risk & Trading and Product with objective of achieving greater efficiency and better solutions to business problems.

**Duties include**:

- Ensure data is analysed into meaningful, actionable insights and recommendations that will improve decision making and consequently drive business performance
- Support the business in delivering insights that influences decision makers
- Communicate and deliver complex analysis and concepts to key stakeholders and the wider business by creating ‘data stories’ to excite the business
- Manage end-to-end analytical projects and develop in-depth, customer-based insights that help drive decisions

**You**

We are looking for someone with a proven track record, who can lead, as the Senior Insights Analyst, on a range of projects. The successful applicant will have:

- Critical reasoning and ability to question traditional thinking
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
- Results focused
- Collaborative and consultative
- Ability to act at pace and be decisive
- Commercial acumen
- Solid level of SQL or equivalent
- Strong Excel skills
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools, e.g. Power BI or Tableau
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools and dashboard design techniques
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Strong logic and ability to explain complex analysis in a simple way
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in business, mathematics, financial, computer science or data science discipline is preferred
