An exciting opportunity has become available for an innovative and customer-focused Social Media and Community Assistant to join our thriving National Marketing Team

Reporting to the National Social Media Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

- Demonstrate a superior customer service capability by making customer experience your number one priority
- Engage with customer enquiries via online channels
- Provide personalised customer service of the highest level to build rapport for sales, general enquires, feedback and complaints
- Ensure best practice customer experience initiatives are delivered at every customer touchpoint
- Use effective questioning and exceptional listening, reading, and comprehension skills to identify and respond to the needs of customers
- Utilise CRM and other systems to capture leads, schedule tasks, send communication, and perform other day-to-day operational duties
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with customers and internal stakeholders
- Proactively engage with customers blogging about their builds via social media
- Monitor tagged posts and highlight relevant content to reshare on Metricon’s channels
- Assist with the upload of images and documents to the Metricon website and Pinterest account
- Assist the Social Media team with the creation of ad hoc Instagram and Facebook story content

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role
- Customer orientation and the ability to adapt/respond to different customer and enquiry types
- Understanding of the building industry and customer journey is advantageous
- Ability to actively listen, read, and comprehend, with a high attention to detail and a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- The capacity to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Experience using Social Media platforms
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer skills and exposure working with database systems
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva beneficial
