Newcastle, Australia GMW Cleaning Services Full time

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeping Team Leader/Supervisor to work with us at our client's properties in the Newcastle NSW region.

Tasks include but not limited to:

- Maintaining the property's cleaning and hygiene standards in guest apartments and public areas.
- Undergo checking cleaned rooms behind the Room Attendants to ensure the property's cleaning standards are being met.
- Assisting and liaising with our Head of Operations with staff training, staff re-fresher training, keeping record of onsite toolbox talks and keeping the senior management team updated with operations onsite.
- Rostering staff, and reporting issues to the senior management team so they can liaise with the Property.
- Be willing and able to clean a set amount of apartments if required.

**Requirements**:

- Must live in the Newcastle NSW area or surrounding suburbs. Must be able to easily commute.
- Minimum availability: 5 days per week. Will be required to work on weekends and public holidays during high volume periods.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping is required.
- Exceptional high attention to detail and ability to maintain standard whilst working under pressure and time constraints.
- Reliable, customer-focused, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Must have permission to work in Australia.

Pay: From $26.70 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newcastle NSW 2300: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
