Boilermaker – Team Leader / Supervisor (Newcastle)

We are seeking a Trade Qualified Boilermaker to join our growing Newcastle operations as a Team Leader / Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career - leading a maintenance crew and working closely with our Operations Manager and Mining Services Manager to deliver outstanding results for our customers.

About the Role

In this hands-on supervisory position, you'll oversee mechanical maintenance activities on a range of plant and fixed assets including conveyors, reclaimers, stackers, and associated structures. You'll coordinate daily operations, manage site teams, ensure work quality and safety standards, and help drive productivity and continuous improvement across the operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a small team of contractors on-site
  • Liaise with Operations and Mining Services Managers to plan and execute maintenance and project work
  • Ensure safety compliance and work quality to company and client standards
  • Assist in job scoping, estimating, and planning of shutdown and project work
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Skills & Experience

  • Trade Qualified Boilermaker (essential)
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance or construction environment
  • Previous experience working on mining, port, or heavy industrial plant

  • Current or willingness to obtain:

  • S1, S2, S3 Supervisor Tickets (Mining Supervisor)

  • Working at Heights and Confined Spaces
  • TRG Hot Works
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
