**About the Role**:
The Commercial Specialist will seek to resolve any contract-related issues that arise and partner with a variety of business support functions, including Relationship Management, Technology and Finance.
The role will require a strong understanding of commercial negotiations, experience creating commercial models for complex product suites and contract/legal experience, and will play a critical role in our ability to achieve our goals by creating and maintaining strong relationships.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Drafting, negotiating and evaluating contracts with customers utilising external legal resources.
- Communicating contractual changes to all stakeholders at the direction of the Manager, Commercial & Contracts.
- Managing and record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
- Creating bespoke pricing models for complex solutions.
- The creation of reports for commercial function and recommendations for approval.
- Assisting the Manager, Commercial & Contracts with product owners to cost and price offerings.
- SoW/RFW/CR/NDA Drafting & Management.
- Assisting the Manager, Commercial & Contracts to deliver commercial strategies, policies and procedures, and templates.
**To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law or a related field.
- A minimum of 3+ years’ relevant experience within a commercial setting, working across diverse teams and supporting commercial strategy.
- Experience working in a complex regulatory environment, technology or financial service industries.
- Expert negotiating and influencing skills.
- Ability to influence at a senior level, both internally and externally.
- Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels.
