**Position Summary**:

- Support the service owner lead or work in the delivery lead capacity by developing and maintaining the overall product strategy, executing on the strategy, and the voice of the customer.
- Understand the divisional and group objectives and strategies.
- Manage the product stakeholders (business and tech) balancing both customers and business leads and driving business case realizations.
- Balance the tradeoff between quality benefits risk budget time to market and user experience and effectively communicate it to key stakeholders.
- Ability to coach other service owners on value prioritization and benefits realization.
- Provide insights on maximizing value and understand industry best practice measures and metrics including backlog tracking, burndown metrics velocity and task definition.
- Previous experience and background in Software Development Design, Product Ownership, Program / Portfolio management.

**You will be**:

- A strong analytical thinker and problem solver with thought leadership and commercial awareness.
- Experienced building end to end data pipelines using on-premise or cloud based data platforms.
- Experienced with hands-on delivery of solutions which include databases, advanced SQL and software development in languages such as Python, Scala, Java, TSQL, PL/SQL to name a few.
- Knowledgeable in relational and big data architectures, data warehousing, data integration, data modelling, data optimisation and data analysis techniques.
- Interested and knowledgeable in Big Data technologies and Apache ecosystem technologies such as Beam, Spark, Kafka, Hive, Airflow, NiFi, databases, integration, master data management, quality assurance, data wrangling and data governance technologies.
- Knowledgeable in Cloud Data Warehouse services. Experience in Google BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure SQL DWH or Azure Databricks is highly desirable.
- Experienced with public cloud platforms and cloud infrastructure, which is essential.
- Exposed to ETL/ELT and governance tools (inc Talend, Informatica, Matillion, FiveTran, IBM Datastage, Collibra)
- Interested in AI and ML technologies and principles.
- Able to migrate and transform large, complex datasets from diverse sources, structures and formats, modeled to support analysis for access to quality actionable insights.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Project Management**
- Manage projects using agile mindset and corresponding tools to ensure on time quality deliverables developing effective & efficient way of working in the team.
- Develop and regularly maintain the product backlog by removing and adding items to it. (Epics features and user stories) and ensure that they are clearly expressed (including acceptance criteria), refining them when necessary and regularly prioritizing.
- Maintain the nonfunctional requirements (NFRS), to help ensure that the solution meets relevant standards and other systems quality requirements.
- Provide insights on maximizing value and understand industry best practice measures and metrics including backlog tracking, burndown metrics velocity and task definition.
- Some experience working and navigating around a large and complex organization.

**Knowledge Management**
- Ability to coach other service owners on value prioritization and benefits realization.
