**About the role**:
The Manufacturing Analyst is a full time position, primarily based at our corporate head offices in North Ryde, and with travel around factory sites in Minto, Wetherill Park, Somersby and Goulburn. CSR offers hybrid working, with three days onsite, and two days working remotely.
Reporting to the Finance Operation Manager, this role is responsible for supporting financial governance and requirements of the factories and high-level business case reviews.
As a key member of the Finance Team, you'll help ensure financial outcomes are in line with the objectives of the team, and drive operational finance within the Construction Systems business unit.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Consolidating financial data and reporting for monthly results, budgets, and forecasts, including commentary
- Risk and control assessment reporting, specifically in relation to stock procedures
- Ensuring integrity of factory ledgers
- Assisting standard costing process across all factories
- Analysis of fully costed product and plant efficiency, and raw material usage variances to ensure accurate BOM's and product routings
- Identifying and implementing cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities
- Manage benchmarking of factory reporting
- S&OP planning support as required
- Establishing and maintaining effective financial/management accounting controls and systems, including control process, and monitoring for factories and warehouses
- Assisting with business systems projects and system testing as required
- Assisting the preparation of management reports, budgets & forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis as required
- Assisting with the annual standard costing process completed for all factories
- Maintaining accurate financial records and the general ledger for areas of responsibility, supported by high quality reconciliations to ensure a common and trusted information base
- Assisting in the development, implementation and ongoing compliance of common processes across all manufacturing Master Data activities
- Assisting with Purchasing and support factory staff with queries.

About You
- Experience working within the manufacturing, building and construction industry
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Finance and/or Commerce
- 3+ years' experience with financial and/or management accounting activities - including general accounting, financial analysis and reports
- Experience with SAP (highly regarded)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to influence and engage key stakeholders (essential)
- Ability to analyse and communicate financial information
- Computer literacy with a sound knowledge of accounting software and spreadsheets.
