**Your new company**
Hays is assisting a State Government client based in Brisbane CBD who is seeking a Workforce Planning and Change Management professional to join the Brisbane HR team for 3 to 6 months.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the HR Director and working closely with the Human Resources Business Partner, the Workforce Planning and Change Officer is responsible but not limited to the following duties:

- Understanding what the change process looks like and assisting the team develop an organisational design plan
- Providing coaching, leadership and guidance to other HR consultants
- Delivering training and information sessions
- Preparing documentation for the Union
- Change Management Resistance
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to the change management strategy

**What you'll need to succeed**

- Demonstrated public sector experience in workforce planning and change management
- Demonstrated experience fostering change leadership and supporting managers to deliver outcomes/benefits
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple language
- Tertiary qualifications in change management, communications, program or multi-project management; or related discipline
