Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver; design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4S program in Sydney Water's Southern Region of Sydney.
D4C is a consortium comprising of Comdain Infrastructure, John Holland, Servicestream and WSP. We will provide long term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people of the southern region of Sydney as well as creating pathways to enter the water industry.
D4C is seeking a Workforce planner to join their expanding team to deliver excellence across the Southern Region.
What this role will entail?
You will coordinate and plan Construction resources (Blue collar workforce/plant/equipment) in consultation with Construction management, Plant/Fleet Lead and Workforce Operations Lead.
You will be a collaborative partner with key construction team leaders and influence others to achieve business self-perform outcomes. You will be planning and allocating resources to meet complex program requirements and strategically prioritise operational project needs whilst fostering a culture that embraces continual improvement.
- Responsible for short
- and long-term resource planning and allocation.
- Identify resource requirements based on bottom-up methodologies with short
- and long-term projections.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and performance of resources in the program reporting on optimisation and utilisation to drive self-perform capabilities in our business.
- Undertake and provide modelling of workforce trends and analytics
- Work with our Systems team to maintain efficient, effective filing and data processing of our allocating systems to ensure user-friendly retrieval of information.
- Work with other stakeholders to adopt new methodologies/frameworks to approve the business outcomes

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in operational based workforce planning roles; exposure to Construction/utility infrastructure is desired (3-5 Years) Or Minimum of 10 years' experience in similar position in other industries.
- Previous Experience Microsoft office suite (Word/Excel/Outlook) and other allocation system (Power Bi, Ineight)
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Management disciplines
- Current NSW Drivers Licence.

This position is a fast-paced position where you could be working to tight time frames so you must work comfortably under pressure and enjoy being busy.
