**About the Role**:
This role will be responsible for the coordination and data management of all privacy governance activities here at CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy. This role will take a lead role in the overall privacy function across all our businesses including policy & compliance, data management and analysis, privacy enquiry management, data purging schedules and company training development.

The ideal person for this role will have previous experience working in a role with a Privacy focus, be familiar with the Australian Privacy Principles and possess highly developed problem-solving skills. The role requires a person with a demonstrated ability to operate with ambiguity and with autonomy. In addition, this person will have an enthusiastic attitude, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written forms.

**In this role you will**:

- Coordinate the Privacy Governance Forum agendas, meetings and actions
- Design, develop and produce quarterly Privacy management reporting and insights
- Oversee the lifecycle of digital information generated or collected in the course of business operations at CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy
- Support the design, management, monitoring and maintenance of customer data models across our IT systems landscape
- Advise internal data owners and staff on privacy processes related to the collection, classification, storage, transfer and disposal of personal, sensitive or otherwise private information
- Monitor and manage the Privacy Inbox, ensuring timely responses to internal and external privacy enquiries
- Engage with the Organisational Development team to drive the development of engaging, targeted, relevant privacy training modules for onboarding and regular refreshers in addition to ensuring compliance.

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, management, law, privacy or risk is desired, but not mandatory
- Understanding of the Australian Privacy Act (1988) and its related Australian Privacy Principles
- Understanding of the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) reporting requirements and engagement procedures
- Sound understanding and experience working in a Privacy function including data management practices and principles, managing privacy compliance and responding to privacy related enquiries
- Excellent coordinator and administrator able to work within set guidelines to meet deadlines (excellent time management skills)
