About the Role
As a Data Privacy Manager in our team, you’ll play a key role in working with the Senior Manager, ANZ Privacy Office, and the Privacy Office team, including ANZ global stakeholders across the organization.

What will your day look like?
**As a Data Privacy Manager, you are accountable for**:
Excellent understanding of data protection/privacy regulations.
Recognized data protection qualification, e.g., IAPP-CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E.
Lead the development and implementation of best practice and proactive-focused data protection and privacy strategy.\
Extensive business analysis background, including requirements management, stakeholder management, requirements and solution evaluation, and practical experience.
Experienced in managing privacy control measures related to information security and vendor management.\
Ability to think, navigate, and generate solution options on complex issues between data privacy and other domains/functions such as technology and vendor management.
A strong execution mindset and ability to deliver quality outputs within required timeframes.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with different levels of stakeholders.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Extensive experience in privacy or a related field
In-depth knowledge of privacy and data protection legislation, including the AU Privacy Act, GDPR, and PDPA.
In-depth understanding of privacy management practices with the ability to identify and manage interactions across business operations.
Excellent writing, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to assist projects and business units with conducting Privacy Threshold Assessments to determine whether a PIA or some other privacy support is needed.
Ability to conduct Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with stakeholders and employees at all levels.
