The Role

Jetstar’s Customer Experience team is at the forefront of delivering ongoing support at all levels to our frontline Cabin Crew operational teams in order for our passengers to take to the skies efficiently and safely.

This role will be responsible for coordinating the day to day and future planning of the Customer Experience training requirements and working closely with resourcing to ensure team members are rostered onto training sessions without affecting the integrity of the operation.

Reporting to the Service Experience Training Manager, responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring training courses have venues, training resources, catering and attendees arranged
- Ensuring any costs are raised through the Accounts Payable system and processed promptly
- Working closely with our operational leadership, Ground Training managers and coordinators
- Liaising with Resourcing and crew planning to ensure all training sessions do not have any implications on the integrity of our operations
- Ensuring documented feedback is provided to local management after training sessions to assist with the performance management of individuals
- Assisting in design of training courseware as required
- Ensuring the use of LMS and other training systems where required are kept up to date and individuals are followed up to ensure compliance such as Manual Handling
- Ensuring attendance of training is clearly documented in central location determined by the business unit
- Liaising with our Cabin Crew Leadership team regarding any non-attendance to training or issues raised during training
- Maintaining database and provide monthly reporting to Training Manager detailing training completion, trends and feedback from trainers and trainees.

To be successful in this role we are ideally seeking an individual with experience including:

- CERT IV in Training & Assessment or relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience in transport and/or aviation (desired)
- Experience in training and/ or training coordination required via working experience for a minimum of 12 months
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Passionate about change and the Jetstar brand values with an ability to motivate others
- Professional and well-presented individual with the ability to present to large groups
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
