**About the role**
As a Heavy Vehicle Operator (Roads) you will be part of the Works and Field Services team and will be responsible for operation of heavy vehicles, machinery and undertake detailed maintenance of Roads and Drainage assets to Council Standards.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Operate heavy vehicle, plant and equipment within licence requirements, manufacturer’s specifications and to Council standards.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained to manufacturer’s specifications and Council standards.
- Ensure continuous improvement of services provided by liaising and providing feedback to the Team Supervisor.
- Participate in the development of a Teamwork Plan and key performance indicators in consultation with the Team Supervisor and contribute to agreed outcomes, responsibilities and accountable.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Current “HR” Class Driver’s Licence
A pre-employment medical will be required for this role (including Drug and Alcohol testing).

This is a full time permanent role at grade 13 - 15 with a salary package commencing at $63,474 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
