**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring all vehicles are maintained to a roadworthy standard.
- Maximise fleet availability for operational requirements through scheduled servicing and planned maintenance.
- Ensure servicing requirements meet our NHVR accreditation standards.
- Implement maintenance programs and initiatives to ensure the successful day to day operation of the workshop.
- Manage maintenance and labor costs as well as stock control.
- Manage and mentor a small team of mechanics and apprentices.
- Developing strong relationship with both internal and external stake holders.
- Daily admin requirements. Invoice approvals/PO requests/Quotes.
- Proven experience in managing a successful heavy vehicle transport Workshop.
- Must be able to forward plan service and maintenance schedules.
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task work effectively within a team environment.
- Be a proactive leader of Health, Safety & Compliance.
- Developing and mentoring staff.
- Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Heavy vehicle trade qualification.
- Assist Business Development Team in preparing tenders and contract mobilisation requirements.
