Compactor Operators

Celotti Workforce is seeking an experienced Compactor Operators to join a bulk earthworks crew on a large subdivision project in theIpswich / Logan / Somerset Region . If you have solid experience operating compactors on civil sites and are looking for reliable work, we want to hear from you

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Compactor Operator you will play a key role in supporting civil construction projects. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Use various types of compactors (padfoot, smooth drum and, multi-wheel) to compact soil, gravel and asphalt.
• Assist in preparing surfaces for subdivisions, roads, and other civil structures by compacting materials to the required density.
• Work alongside other operators and earthmoving equipment to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Conduct pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and report any mechanical issues.
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Compactor (RII accredited)
• Blue/White Construction card
• Proven experience operating compactor in bulk earthworks (subdivisions, road, civil sites)
• Familiarity with construction tools and heavy machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and drawings is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks.
