**Activ Pathways,** Activ’s Registered Training Organisation, provide a variety of learning programs for the community health sector. We are entering an exciting time of growth and opportunity and are empowered to take bold steps forward in the expansion of our training services.

**About the role**

A new position due to growth, the Trainer & Assessor role at Activ reports to the **Program Lead** and will deliver CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health in both metro and regional locations.

**A typical day in the role may look like **
- Deliver engaging training to promote student participation in face-to-face and virtual settings
- Manage the progression of each student through their enrolled course, providing timely feedback and support
- Work within program guidelines to meet training and assessment standards
- Contribute to the achievement of Activ Pathways commercial targets
- Undertake professional development to ensure industry currency.
- Flexibility to travel regionally
- CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health (or higher)
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in TAE (with upgraded units TAELLN441 and TAEASS501) or TAE40116 Certificate IV or higher in Training and Assessment
- Minimum 2 years experience in VET Training and Assessment and Mental Health
- A passion for delivering innovative programs with a focus on learner outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills
- The ability to operate and adapt to new technology and systems of work
- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support and/or CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability (desirable).
- National Police Clearance and/or NDIS worker screening check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
