This position will support our ongoing growth in the Perth region and you will be managing both administration functions and interesting, challenging project work.

With a strong reputation for high quality work, we are the go-to specialists for groundwater consulting for a changing world. We have four offices in Townsville, Brisbane, Newcastle and Perth.

**The Role**

In an environment of strong teamwork and collaboration, you will provide local office management to the Perth team as well as contributing as a shared resource to the AGE Business Services team. This includes but is not limited to:

- Microsoft Word document proof reading and formatting including advanced features such as ToC, Referencing Figures and Tables
- Data entry - using ERP software
- Booking travel and coordinating equipment and supplies for consultants’ field trips to remote parts of Queensland
- Maintaining a smooth running office including housekeeping, errands and maintaining office supplies
- Coordinating team social events
- Special projects work - we have many areas where you can make great contributions to stimulating projects across our business, based on your skills and interest areas

**To be successful in this role,** you will need strong organisation skills and initiative. Office management experience supporting professional consultants will be a distinct advantage. Microsoft Word formatting experience or an interest in learning this skill will be very important. Refresher training can be provided, and you will need to demonstrate proficiency in proof reading and be driven by professional presentation of comprehensive reports in a consistent format. Exposure to working with ERP software would be beneficial, however, a thorough training program will be provided, with ongoing support from the Business Services Manager.

You will also need to have:

- An attentive, upbeat and professional approach to administrative support
- An obsession for accuracy
- Strong affinity for utilising various business management software programs
- An interest in planning social events and coordinating travel and logistics

**The Opportunities**

The environmental projects we manage are fulfilling and challenging. In your Business Services role, you will be an integral part of our service delivery. You will be exposed to an intriguing industry that advises on impacts from resource projects on groundwater systems; the development of groundwater supplies for towns, villages, mines, irrigation, stock, and domestic purposes; and assists in the development, management and closure of landfills and mines.

This is a very broad role with a lot of variety. A typical week might include booking travel, ensuring the work vehicle has all the supplies required for the geoscientists who go out on field trips, final formatting and proof reading scientific reports, coordinating new staff onboarding and participating in business services team meetings to advance efficiencies in business processes.
