Exciting opportunity for a Project Admin to join the team of a tier one construction company

**Your new company**

Based in the Hobart, this well-known tier one commercial civil construction has an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join the team on a full time permanent basis due to having contracts on multiple large projects in the CBD.

**Your new role**

As the Project Administrator your core duty will be to provide support to the Project Manager to achieve successful operational outcomes for the business. These duties will includes;
- Assist with tender submissions and ensuring they are delivered on time
- Manage tender platforms
- Assisting with the estimation of works and populate costing spreadsheets
- Negotiate prices with subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage contractual compliance
- Track and record variations on jobs
- Other admin duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ability to read civil/architectural plans and develop cost estimates
- Previous experience working on projects $50mil + in value
- High level of proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Previous staff management experience
- Strong understanding of construction processes
- Ability to communicate and manage various external stakeholders
