Administration role based in the Hobart CBD within the Government’s Health Sector
**Your new company**
Based in the Hobart CBD, this position sits within the Tasmanian Health Sector, the largest department of all Tasmanian Government agencies. Their responsibilities regarding hospitals, ambulances, public housing, community health, and related areas including limited involvement in primary healthcare.
**Your new role**
You will provide high end Assistance to the Project Management Office. Your core duties will be providing general support to the team and will include duties such as:
- Task logging in our service management system
- Budget and finance servicing
- Labour hire contract drafting
- Hardware and software ordering
- ID and building card coordination
- General admin support
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful, you will be an experienced Admin Assistant with a proven record of supporting a busy team. You will:
- Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Have excellent time management skills
- Have outstanding attention to detail
- Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Have a high level of initiative
- Be able to prioritise competing demands and work well under pressure
- Previous public sector experience desirable
**What you'll get in return**
You will receive an attractive casual hourly rate and work during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, completing a 38-hour standard week. You will get the opportunity to work semi-autonomously in a small team.
