**About the role**

We are currently looking for a team of male Disability Support Workers to support 2 clients we have in care. We have a group home with mixed participants aged 19 and 37, who are very interested in being active and outdoors. They enjoy swimming, bushwalking, and horse riding. They also enjoy sensory experiences, including playing music. Gaming, drawing, bowling and mechanical models of vehicles are also of interest.

We understand that the role can be quite varied depending on the individual you support however, your day-to-day may involve you assisting with personal care, transportation, community access, feeding, mobility, and domestic duties. This role is perfect for you if you are someone who loves to help others maintain their quality of life in a supported independent living environment.

Experience with mental health, ASD, ADHD, and LGBTQI clients will be highly regarded.

Please note that these clients are located in Bundamba. You may be rostered with other clients in Bundamba and surrounding suburbs (Redbank Plains, Spring Mountain, Springfield Lakes, Tivoli, Loganlea, Beenleigh).

**About You**
- You have completed a Certificate 3 or higher in Disability, Aged Care, or other relevant courses
- You have previous experience working with people with disabilities, preferably within an accommodation setting
- You are committed to providing client focused services with positive outcomes
- A current Working with Children Check
- An NDIS Worker Screening Certificate
- A blue card
- A current police check conducted within 6 months
- A valid Australian drivers licence with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
- A current first aid certificate
