Supporting Abilities for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is seeking a passionate Disability Support Worker(s) to join the team, located throughout Queensland.
- 13-year-old male participant.
- Bundamba (QLD) location.
- Support to commence from Thursday, August 14. Thursday(s) 3:00 pm - 5:00/6:00 pm, Sunday(s) time flexible, up to four hours.
- Also looking for someone who may be able to provide some basic English and Maths tutoring at a separate time. Can be done via Telehealth.
- Dwarfism and high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) experience required.
- Requires support with: School pick-up/therapy attendance (Thursdays), community access (Sundays), skill development, socialisation and companionship. Activities may include going to the arcade, swimming pool, movies, etc.
- Participant interests include gaming, animation and similar activities.

We are looking for a competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Worker who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients.

**Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain)**:

- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants
