Due to the client's personal care needs (e.g., bathing, dressing, peg feeding), this role requires an experienced support worker to provide high intensity care. As a Support Worker, your role will be dynamic and rewarding:

• Assist clients with daily personal needs, including personal care tasks (e.g., bathing, dressing, peg feeding and manual handling, high intensity care).
• Participate in social activities and help clients build skills they're passionate about.
• Work with clients who have challenging behaviors, collaborating with psychologists and behavior specialists to implement strategies and learn about behavior management.
• Represent the My Care Living brand by facilitating care plans and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our team and customers.

The Essentials for This Role

We're looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

• NDIS Workers Screening Check.
• First Aid/CPR certificate.
• High Intensity care experience
• Peg feeding, catheter change
• Experience in manual handling (e.g., using hoists).
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic situations.
• Valid driver's license and confident driving.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
• Commitment to attending team meetings and training.

Required:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Experience in disability support or aged care.
• Ability to conduct environmental risk assessments.
