We have a new opportunity for a Maintenance Supply Coordinator to join our Opal Fibre Packaging manufacturing site at Athol Park, SA.

Opal Fibre Packaging ANZ manufactures innovative recycled and sustainable cardboard box packaging solutions aligned with the circular economy. As an integrated local manufacturer we partner with our customers to supply corrugated cardboard packaging solutions to support major market segments including FMCG, fruit and produce, protein, dairy, dry goods, wine, beverage and industrial manufacturers.

The primary focus of this role is to oversee the management of the maintenance stores. In this role you will ensure critical spares and plant consumables are sourced, procured and delivered to support the planning of maintenance work.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

- Ensuring all purchases are maintained within the budget limits and sourcing is frequently reviewed to secure the best available deals
- Focusing on delivery of maintenance stores coordination including sourcing all site consumables and stores parts and inventory management
- Leading and managing bi-annual stores stock take process and investigating any variances to provide management with an action plan for future improvement to avoid recurrence
- Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, ensure maintenance stores and critical parts are available to execute the maintenance plans

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
- Previous experience in a stores management and technical parts procurement role
- Demonstrated skills with computerised maintenance management software and other computer software (Word, Excel and SAP)
- High-level communication (interpersonal, written and verbal) and relationship management skills to effectively communicate with a range of key internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- High-level ability to plan, coordinate and manage project tasks and activities within a high-pressure work environment
- A proactive approach, working effectively with maintenance planners, tradespeople and engineering staff, including project teams and contractors
- A sense of urgency and be flexible to ensure the site’s stores and purchasing is managed efficiently and accurately
