**About Santos**
Santos is a leading independent producer of oil and gas committed to ever-cleaner energy and fuels production. With operations across Australia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste and North America, Santos has been supplying reliable and affordable energy for over 65 years.
**About the team**
The supply chain team has more than 200 employees located across Australia, Timor-Leste, PNG and USA. This team is responsible for the sourcing and coordination of spend in excess of $4Billion annually.
**About the Assignment**
In return, this position offers you the opportunity to develop operational skills within a world-class supply chain environment, under the guidance of an experienced team who are passionate about heling you develop.
Specifically, this role will involve:
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to procure goods and services
- Maintain supply chain performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Continue to develop skills within the supply chain industry, through exposure to best practice principles, under the guidance of experienced mentors
**About You**
**To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate**:
- A solutions oriented approach to designing, implementing and embedding business improvements
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills, particularly within MS excel
- A solid communication and consultation skills, allowing you understand and guide discussions relating to as-is and to-be processes
- Ideally, you will hold degree Qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Law, Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems
