The Lead Business Specialist is responsible for reviewing, developing, and implementing innovative initiatives, projects and programs to improve efficiency, and harmonise and align processes and procedures in Infrastructure Services, to meet business objectives in driving value for money, productivity and best practice.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

**Key activities of this role include**:

- Use business excellence principles, framework, tools and techniques to analyse and develop improvement initiatives, projects and programs associated with the functions of the Infrastructure Services Department, where issues range from routine BAU to non-routine and highly complex
- Implement business improvement initiatives, align processes and procedures, projects and programs including managing the impact of change on the operations of the business and staff
- Build and maintain relationships and networks with staff and stakeholders to achieve a consultative environment that prospers an engaged and co-operative approach to continuous improvement

**About You**
- You hold a Bachelor Degree qualification in Business or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience preferably in an Infrastructure environment
- You can demonstrate a proven track record in delivering business excellence to improve efficiency and value for money particularly through the development of innovative solutions
- You have sound working knowledge and industry experience implementing a Business Excellence philosophy (eg Australian Business Excellence Framework), along with business analysis experience resulting in improved business outcomes, best practice and value for money
- Managing relationships and negotiating with stakeholders is a key strength, and your communication style ensures your message is clearly received by stakeholders at all levels
- Having a work/life balance is important to you

This role provides a commencing salary range of between $92.1k to $110.5k per annum dependent on skills and experience + 10.5% superannuation.

A 9 day fortnight work-cycle currently applies to this role** **with flexible/hybrid working arrangements available.
