Product Consultant

Job Summary:
We have an opportunity available for an experienced Consultant in the Workshop ERP domain, located in our Brisbane office. Working with a small team the successful applicant will primarily perform client consulting including business process reengineering, requirements analysis, product implementations, training and award interpretation for our small to medium size client base in Australia and New Zealand. Additional work includes liaising with clients to identify and confirm professional services opportunities, product improvements including testing and approval of newly developed software and conference work. Travel to customer sites in Australia and New Zealand may be required.

**Job Description**:
Role Objective

This specialist role provides consulting and customer support services to our bus operating clients in the utilization of the Workshop function of the ERP software product. The Consultant will provide specialised product and industry knowledge to support our clients and provide them with problem analysis and resolution and identify the need for any client training and consultation. In addition, this key customer focused role will contribute to the product development and testing of the ERP software product.

Key Role Responsibilities:
Ideally, you will deliver a compelling customer experience for our clients valued customers with experience in either of the following:

- Managing the central customer contact portal and key client reporting for Workshop and any other assigned tasks for other ERP functions as required.
- Continuously developing knowledge of the ERP solution through learning through other key Workshop specialists in the delivering of training in the ERP solution to clients.
- Proactively investigate and analyse issues to ensure that underlying causal effects are identified (not just fixing the symptoms).
- Delivering of “how to” training to clients that result in high customer satisfaction, correct product use and process changes, which minimises subsequent support demands.
- Analysing root cause for client support issues and identifying training or product improvements and referring onto the professional services team for further support.
- Maintaining user and training documentation.
- Undertaking comprehensive product testing to ensure high quality product is delivered to the client.
- Traveling adhoc locally and through ANZ to deliver onsite training and consultation as required.
- Undertaking any other related tasks as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Minimum 1+ years consulting on implementing ERP software and business process improvement in the workshop area
- Working background in either the Bus Industry or Automotive Workshops is required.
- Working background in ERP software solutions is an advantage
- Sound ability in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).
- Experience in writing technical documents.
- Proven ability to analyse problems and recommend solutions or workarounds.
- Highly organised with the ability to work autonomously and manage your own priorities.
- Strong ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly and thoroughly with the ability to effectively present these to others to grow into a Product Specialist.
- Ability to work as a productive and supportive team member.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to people from a wide variety of backgrounds
- Excellent attention to detail

Desirable skills
- Ability to write reports in tools like Jasper Reports
- Ability to write SQL would also be highly considered

You MUST have the following Qualifications or Experience:

- 2+ years’ experience in Workshop, Asset Maintenance or Warehousing areas
- Minimum 2+ years implementing small-medium ERP software

The following Qualifications or Experience is desirable:

- Experience within the Transport Industry
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
- Degree in Accounting or Related discipline or relevant commercial experience

Special Conditions
- Some travel to perform onsite training may be required
- Some out of hours work may be required
