We strive to lead the change in the way Australians think about ageing, recognising ‘old age’ as a positive force in society and giving a voice to those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale.

We are currently seeking a **Health and Wellness Officer** to join our Work, Health and Safety (WHS) team on a permanent part-time basis. Reporting to our General Manager, Work, Health and Safety, this is a newly created position to cover administrative support, health promotion and management of Bethanie’s early intervention program.
- Flexible working arrangements including the opportunity to work from home / remotely and from our office on Pier Street, Perth
- 30.4 hours per week - you could work 4 days per week or across 5 days if preferred - let us know your preference

Key responsibilities will include:

- Administrative support for the WHS team including preparing agendas, slides and minutes for our WHS Committees; invoice payments and processing; supporting monthly reporting; event planning and coordination as required
- Assists in the development and implementation of the Bethanie wellness program including:

- Preparing and implementing an annual calendar of events in line with evidence-based research; consulting with workers to identify, implement and review health and wellbeing initiatives; and contribute towards the development of a Bethanie wide wellness strategy.
- Coordinate the annual influenza vaccination campaign across all Bethanie business units
- Responsible for overseeing and monitoring all staff participating in Bethanie’s Early Intervention Program (EIP) under supervision and guidance of the Injury Management team

**About you**

You have a keen interest in health promotion and wellness and ideally have exposure to a similar role in an aged care or health setting, but this is not essential. If you are looking to work with a great small team then we want to hear from you

You will also bring:

- Great interpersonal skills and a high level of efficiency and organisational skills - you can prioritise tasks based on operational needs
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and within a team.

Due to the geographical spread of our business it’s important to note that you may be occasionally required to travel to our Bethanie sites. You would have access to our pool vehicles for travel requirements also.
