**The Opportunity**

Our Lysaght business is looking for a **Customer Service Representative **to join the **Customer Service Team **based in **Canberra**. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

You will support our Customer Service team, which focuses on producing steel products for structural support in constructions. Being the face of BlueScope, you will ensure all our customers receive exceptional service. You’ll be joining a supportive, fast paced and customer focused team renowned for providing consistently high levels of customer service. We are good at what we do Success in this role will see you delivering our customers a premium service helping our business to increase sales and develop on-going repeat business.

**What Will You Do?**

This role will offer variety and scope for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a busy workplace. In addition to general sales /customer service duties, you’ll be responsible for the following**:

- interacting with our customers via face to face and managing quotes and queries
- following up on quotations and inquiries converting these into sales opportunities
- collaborating with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timetable
- continuously look at new ways of improving the customer experience and consistently improving the total value proposition
