**Role Description/Criteria**

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid (as minimum)
- HLTAID014 - Provide Advanced First Aid (preferred)
- Nursing qualification (Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse) (desirable but not essential)
- HLTAID007 - Provide Advanced Resuscitation (desirable but not essential)
- 22300VIC - First Aid Management in Anaphylaxis or 10710NAT - Allergy and Anaphylaxis Awareness
- 22282VIC/22556VIC - Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workspace
- Anaphylaxis Supervisor training.
- A Certificate IV Training and Assessment would be an advantage in order to be able to deliver accredited training courses to staff and students.
- Database and a learning management system experience would be an advantage
- Ability to respond calmly and professionally in emergency situations.
- Capacity to be flexible and to operate effectively in a changing environment.
- Previous work in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
- Working with Children Check and National Police Record Check Required.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**

**The successful applicant will demonstrate evidence of**:

- A capacity to understand and animate Catholic identity, Salesian charism and College values in all aspects of College life.
- A commitment to Child Safety and the welfare of young people and a strong knowledge and understanding of Child Safety legislation and responsibilities.
- Relevant experience and qualifications in first aid and/or nursing (as identified in the skills and aptitudes above).
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders including but not limited to students, parents, staff and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service.
- Experience in being part of a dynamic administration team that serves the community.
