**About the Role**

Be a part of the Merlin magic by joining us as a Maintenance Assistant at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre, Melbourne. We currently have part time and casual opportunities available

The role will be predominately daytime hours, however, due to the attraction operating 7 days a week during peak trading, weekend work will be necessary, along with participating in an ‘on-call’ roster.

Working with the Head of Technical Services, your role is to ensure all aspects of building are in good working order to smooth business operations. This includes:

- General attraction maintenance including but not limited to custodial duties, re-lamping & lighting systems, painting and wall repair, equipment cleaning, exhibit setup and takedown.
- Execute all assigned inspections and report relevant issues to be scheduled and rectified as appropriate.
- Utilize hands-on knowledge and experience to solve problems to sustain mínimal downtime of rides and equipment
- Comply with the Health, Safety & Security

**About You**

You are a strong communicator and are able to build rapport across the business. Your ability to have a flexible and adaptable approach along with demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are desired.

Having a flexible and adaptable approach to working days/hours - including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events will also be considered advantageous.
