**About the Opportunity**

In this newly created role of Executive General Manager, you will report to the CEO Wealth & Capital Markets (W&CM) and join a high performing leadership team.

You will be responsible for leading Operations including Client Services, Registry, Technology and Project Functions to deliver innovation, simplification and a customer experience which supports our strategic ambitions.

This is a facilitative role that will require your strategic focus, commercial acumen, and strong analytical and execution skills. Critically you will drive the strategic agenda, operational excellence, and efficiencies across the W&CM Operations through:

- The development, prioritisation, and successful delivery of an agreed program of initiatives
- The direction and leadership to a cross-functional team to operationalise W&CM strategic priorities
- The efficient delivery of critical operational and administrative support services
- Developing a highly skilled and engaged workforce and drive a high performance and innovative culture
- In the short term, leading the Client Service experience for 5 diverse and dynamic businesses, seeking scale and operational synergies

**Experience and Capabilities**

We are looking for an Executive with exceptional people leadership experience, as well as proven capability delivering to business and commercial strategic objectives across an organisation, with a diverse portfolio of businesses.

- Demonstrated experience leading Operations functions for Wealth Management and Managed Investment schemes
- Experience leading professional, technical and service orientated teams
- Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement across both internal and external relationships
- An Executive with a highly regarded reputation as a leader and contributor on committees, steering groups and for assuming accountability for relevant business decisions and actions
