**About the role..**

We are seeking an IT professional with some experience in information technology to provide exceptional support to the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) and Sydney Showground staff, clients and event partners.

This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the service desk enquiries and support requests.

The role involves, but is not limited to:

- Providing excellent customer service to internal customers through multiple channels including face to face, phone, Team viewer, self-service
- Monitor and maintain the service desk, responding in a timely manner
- Identify and diagnose issues and problems and escalate issues when necessary
- Provision and roll out end user devices such as workstations, mobile devices, VoIP phones, printers, etc.
- Provide support to IT Support Engineer & Team
- Manage user accounts and network security, including on and off boarding staff
- Assist with general administration duties as required

**About you**

You will be someone who:

- Has a minimum 2 years’ experience in information technology
- Microsoft 365 and Office 365 certification, preferred
- Has a passion for technology and is eager to develop their IT skills
- A quick learner with energy, enthusiasm and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Thorough knowledge of up-to-date Windows operating system
- Use of Service Desk tool such as JIRA
- Have a customer service focus, highly motivated, highly adaptable and a problem solver
- Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
