We are proud to be partnering with an Australian pioneer in Banking Solutions, they are at the forefront of providing innovative solutions. We are looking for Service Desk Support Engineers to join our team on a 5 months contract basis in Sydney.

This is an opportunity to bring your expertise as a Technical enthusiast to work alongside a team solely dedicated to providing effective banking solutions to Australians.

About the role:

The Service Desk SME will serve as the go-to expert for resolving LAN ID account lockouts and password reset issues. This role requires good communication skill, ITIL based Service Desk Operations and knowledge of Active Directory, identity management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the First point of contact for Domain ID/LAN ID account lockout and password reset issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user access issues leveraging customer managed tools
  • Monitor and analyse recurring incidents to identify root causes and Escalate to L2 for recommendation on long-term solutions.
  • Leverage knowledge base articles and SOPs for account management processes and suggest update whenever required
  • Collaborate with L2 Teams within the Infrastructure and IT security team to ensure compliance with access control policies.
  • Provide metrics and reporting on incident trends and resolution times.

Required Skills:

  • Basic Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and password policies.
  • Max 2-3 years of experience in a service desk or IT support role, with a focus on account management.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
  • Understanding of ITIL framework and incident management processes.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
