**The Opportunity**
Chandler Macleod is looking to engage a Risk Officer for a contract term of
**6 months** with a well-established University. This role will be based in
**Richmond with flexible working arrangements on offer.**
**Job Specification**
In this position, you will be required to perform but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Support in maintaining the Risk Management Framework components, including Risk Appetite Statements and risk software (**Protecht**)
- Support in controls assurance and reporting activities
- Assisting with the preparation of risk reports for the University
- Support to deliver initiatives to build and enhance risk management awareness and maturity within Portfolios and Divisions from across the University
- Some diary management for the Chief Audit and Risk Officer
**About You**

To be successful in this position, you will need to have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated understanding of **ISO 31000:2018** risk management guidelines
- Demonstrated ability in identifying and analysing risks and making judgements
- Demonstrated communication skills through productive relationships and resolving conflicts
- Hold a relevant undergraduate qualification with experience in risk management
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in risk management working in similar roles
- Any risk certification or CPA desirable
- Understanding of strategic risk registers
