Our client is a long established, well known supplier of a huge range of products to the automotive industry. They also supply workshop equipment such as hoists, jacks, wheel aligners, tyre equipment etc., and it is for this side of the business they need to recruit a Workshop Equipment Specialist. The role is entirely office based and Monday to Friday only. Field operatives will feed customer requirements to the Workshop Equipment Specialist, and it will be his or her task to assemble quotations and supply these back to the field operatives. On the job training will be provided.

Applicants for this position must have some knowledge of workshop equipment, so ideally you will be a technician seeking an office role, or a service advisor tired of facing customers. Dealership parts or sales staff are also encouraged to apply. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, understand Excel, be reliable and be seeking a long term position.

Salary will depend entirely on experience, and will fall in the $60k to $90k range plus super. A company vehicle may be considered after a period but not initially.
