Georgiou has recently been awarded a number of major Western Australian infrastructure projects and as such are seeking to appoint an experienced Community & Stakeholder Manager. Working closely with the Project and Construction Managers, this role is based at the relevant project office and offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a collaborative, innovative team that is helping to transform metropolitan infrastructure well into the future.

As a Community & Stakeholder Manager you will have demonstrated experience managing community and stakeholder engagement on large scale construction projects and in delivering stakeholder and community relations programs.

**You will work as an integral member of the Relationships Team and will**:

- Develop and implement consultation strategy and activities to ensure the local community and key stakeholders are well informed at all times and engaged in key project decisions.
- Liaise directly with local residents, businesses and stakeholders to identify and investigate community concerns and issues and contribute to their effective management
- Build strong relationships with local residents, businesses and key stakeholders
- Raise community awareness of the project's progress and success by contributing to the development of project publications, advertising and website
- Coordinate events and provide administrative support to the team

**Key competencies for the position include**:

- A minimum of 7 years+ experience in a similar role
- Experience assisting in the delivery of a communication and branding development strategy
- Previous Public Relations and community engagement experience
- Proven ability in active listening, negotiation and conflict management
- Outstanding organisational and communication skills
- Hold an IAP2 qualification
- Work with the project team members to ensure stakeholders’ needs are considered throughout the project.
- Co-ordinate communications and engagement activities including communication campaigns to support traffic changes, door-knocks, community information displays, briefings and meetings.
- Plan and prepare communication materials including works notifications, project updates/newsletters, and correspondence materials.
