Reporting to the Stakeholder and Community Partnership Lead, Synergy is currently seeking a Stakeholder & Community Engagement Specialist to establish networks between internal and external stakeholders and the community to support the timely delivery of multiple large-scale renewable energy projects. Day-to-day the role will be partially embedded within the project delivery team.

This is currently a 12-month fixed term opportunity based at our Perth CBD office.

We’re looking for inspiring people who will be able to:

- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and communities to understand their needs and expectations.
- Create comprehensive stakeholder and community engagement plans in accordance with an established framework and lead the implementation of them for multiple large-scale renewable energy projects.
- Handle complex stakeholder issues and public enquiries to minimise project impacts.
- Organise and participate in community information sessions, landowner/stakeholder meetings and forums/briefings - some regional travel and out of hours activities will be required.
- Demonstrated capability to deliver strategic stakeholder and community engagement plans, advice and support in a large service-based organisation.
- Extensive implementation of IAP2 methodology in community engagement programs.
- Considerable experience in delivering communication programs and providing advice and support in large service-based organisations.
- Tertiary qualification in communications or a related discipline.
