An exciting opportunity for a HR/ER Leader to join the Employee Relations team, within People and Performance.

The ER Operations Manager role is responsible for leading a team of ER Advisors, overseeing the effective advisory support and reporting of end-to-end ER case management and provision of expert, and pragmatic advice on employee relations matters across the business.

Reporting to the Group ER Manager, this is a full time **12-month** contract and has the option to be based in either our Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sydney offices + flexible working options.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Manage the daily operations of the ER service support provided to all team members, leaders and external parties
- Providing advice, guidance and coaching to ER team on different approaches and strategies to adopt to achieve win-win outcomes
- Ensure fair, ethical and consistent case outcomes through strategic advice and direction to ER team and wider business leadership
- Ensure that all key leaders across the business are provided with timely and relevant employee relations advice relevant to performance management, disciplinary procedures and non-work-related injuries
- Encourage others to think creatively, challenge the status quo and develop innovative solutions which reflect an understanding of business needs
- Provide consistent leadership to achieve team goals, develop technical and non-technical skills and act as an escalation point for complex matters

**About you**
- Extensive experience in providing ER/IR/HR advisory support
- Employee relations experience commensurate with an ability to think logically, strategically and translate this into practical operational outcomes that include analysing and explaining the risk profile
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant workplace legislation, regulations and enterprise agreements and the operation of the FWC and other employment related agencies
- Ability to communicate complex matters with clarity and succinctness will help you succeed in the role, as will your excellent time management and decision-making skills
