This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing and collaborative team that is responsible for providing the highest quality SMSF administration and client service to internal and external stakeholders.

This role is responsible for a range of core SMSF administration activities and requires engaging and proactive interaction with internal and external stakeholders

**Key responsibilities**:

- Prepare establishment document for new Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs)
- Prepare annual superannuation financial statements for SMSFs, process transactions and source documentation using Class software
- Prepare annual superannuation and tax returns including taxation notices and correspondence to clients
- Calculating and processing ad-hoc superannuation payments for clients
- Process transactions for Trustees, benefits transfers, pensions, contributions and benefits payments on behalf of members
- Prepare audit papers and facilitate audit with the external auditor.
- Adhere to administration processes and identify improvement when appropriate
- Ensure clients (via their Advisers) are made aware of their compliance obligations

**Key skills required**:

- Self-managed superannuation funds technical knowledge
- Minimum 1 year in a similar role in an accounting practice or SMSF administration firm
- Practical knowledge of Class software is preferred
- High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong Client Service skills including a professional and approachable telephone manner
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to engage a variety of stakeholders internally and externally
- Ability to quickly adapt to change, whether that be legislation, system, or team.
