A boutique outsource middle office provider for Australian based hedge funds is looking for a senior operations analyst to join the team in Sydney.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be tasked with running the day-to-day operations of the funds across multiple asset classes including monitoring positions in the portfolio and the accurate delivery of portfolios to the clients. You will be required to communicate with the clients so excellent communication skills are essential.

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years experience in the funds management industry, preferably at a buy-side firm.

Exposure to swaps, futures and options, equities is essential.

This is a role based in the Sydney CBD and is based in the office 5 days per week.

Some duties as outlined below:

- To liaise with clients on portfolios
- Ensure daily position and cash reconciliation processes between the Funds, prime brokers, custodians and administrators have been completed.
- Ensure the portfolios delivered to the clients are accurate.
- Corporate action monitoring and processing
- To resolve ad hoc P&L queries from the clients.
- Be available to the clients for any ad-hoc queries.

You must be comfortable working in a small company environment where accountability is a priority, along with a strong control mindset. Strong attention to detail is a requirement.
