**The role**

Reporting into the General Manager for Non-Custody Operations you will be responsible for providing the highest quality SMSF fund administration and client service to internal and external stakeholders whilst also managing the SMSF administration team.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage SMSF set-up and registration
- Workflow planning and allocation to ensure compliance and reporting obligations are met
- Review annual and interim SMSF accounts and reports
- Liaise with ATO, ASIC & Auditors
- Reviewing and updating internal processes and procedures as required
- Support for team training and mentoring
- Ensure clients (via their Advisers) are made aware of their compliance obligations
- Liaise with Advisers to deliver the SMSF administration Service
- Maintain knowledge in technical and regulatory areas as they relate to superannuation and SMSFs

**Key requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in an accounting practice or SMSF administration firm
- Must be a registered tax agent with tax practitioner’s board with strong SMSF technical knowledge
- Previous people leadership experience
- Practical knowledge of Class software preferred
- Strong Client Service, written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
