For 27 years our client has been acquiring and maintaining supply deals with some of Australia's largest businesses. Their clients include a diverse mix of companies in industries such as metal, timber, food distribution and recycling.

With a focus on sustainability materials used to manufacture the packaging solutions are 100% locally sourced and often recycled.

**The Role**

A business development role is now available in the Victorian branch located in the Eastern Suburbs.

As a Sales Representative you will be highly personable, self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

The role will require working closely with the Victorian customer service team and state management to coordinate sales activity, follow up on quotes, develop and follow up on leads and close sales while building strong, lasting relationships with our valued customers.

**Key Experience and attributes required for success in the role**:

- Strong time management
- The ability to generate leads
- The ability to contribute to sales and marketing strategies
- Strong communication with both customers and internal departments/colleagues
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Understanding of Manufacturing processes
- Solid MS Office proficiency

**Key responsibilities and deliverables**:

- Learn and understand company products and services
- Work within Victoria to find new business opportunities
- Maintain positive professional relationships with clients
- Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services
- Generate new business through both current and new customers
- Record monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met
