You'll be part of a nationwide team delivering critical services to some of Australia's largest retail brands inside their distribution centre. The specific duties of the Battery Change Operator include -Safely changing and maintaining forklift batteries in a warehousing environment to ensure operational efficiency and limit downtime for clients. You'll be working as part of a team, finding ways to increase the quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. To excel in this role, you'll have a general knowledge of plant and equipment within a storage and warehouse environment. Previous experience in storage and warehousing environments is favourable but not necessary. **Skills** - High Level of attention to detail. - A sound level of written and verbal communication, numeracy & literacy. - Ability to work unsupervised. - Ability to use a range of forklifts & MHE equipment. - Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment. **Attitude** - A focus on providing a high level of customer service. - A positive "Can-Do" approach to all tasks and interactions. - A team player who takes responsibility for all actions and accountability for the results achieved. - Someone interested in their own personal development and continuous learning. - Committed to continuous improvement providing feedback and ideas on opportunities for improvement. **Essential** 1.
