If you love working in a manufacturing environment, get a buzz out of striving to exceed machine targets, and have a ‘can-do’ attitude, then please read on Our Innisfail Depo is currently looking for an energetic Operations Assistant to join the team permanently on day shift.

This role is varied and ever changing depending on the requirements of the day, however ultimately you will be responsible for assisting in setting up all aspects of the machinery in a timely and accurate manner; prepare tooling/materials for the next order to facilitate a quick change-over; keep the work area clean; machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance; perform in-process quality checks; stack bundles; and provide general support to the Site Manager to ensure smooth day to day operations of the site.

To be successful for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

- A ‘can do’ attitude and be a self-starter;
- Demonstrated performance in current/ previous role;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- A methodical approach to problem solving;
- Good communication skills;
- Driven for results - actively strive towards achieving team goals/targets;
- An ability to work efficiently without direct supervision to complete your duties;
- Passion and strive in identifying opportunities for improvement;
- Willing to be flexible in working across other machines within your skillset;
- Willingness and aptitude for training and progression into an Operator position;
- A strong focus on quality and commitment to upholding Workplace Health & Safety standards in your own work and that of others.
