We are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to drive our organisation-wide talent management and development initiatives.
You will focus on designing & implementing employee training programs, overseeing global internship & graduate programmes, implementing regular performance evaluations and designing succession planning policies. You will have ownership of the learner experience with the scope to develop new initiatives & improve current content. You will also help us maintain an equal employment opportunity environment.
The role will be joining a global People team across Australia, Bulgaria, India & the UK.
Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace that helps us achieve our business objectives by providing our team the talent development opportunities training they require.
**Responsibilities**:
- Define learning strategy for the business & ensure alignment with business needs.
- Partner with practice & function leads to evaluate needs & build and deploy learning solutions to meet global & regional needs.
- Lead the development of functional/department specific capability frameworks (e.g. technical competency frameworks) and contribute to the development of career pathways
- Evaluate individual and organisational capable & leadership development needs
- Organise and oversee individual and team training programs (both outsourced and in-house)
- Conduct skills gap analysis
- Create framework for development, analysis & reporting of effectiveness & quality measures to assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
- Build succession plans across all functions
- Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
- Discuss career-pathing options with high-potential employees and their team leaders
- Creating and delivering plans with engagement from practice/function leads
- Partner with functional leads to create an onboarding plan for new joiners relating to their training
- Coach employees and act as their consultant regarding learning and development activities
- Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
- Plan, forecast, & manage capability development budget & negotiate contracts
- Identify existing learning assets and or develop these assets to create & promote valuable learning solutions
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an L&D Advisor/Manager, Training Manager or similar
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc) Experience in project management and budgeting
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with a broad range of people
