**About Our Opportunity**

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our Rowville team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials to support our manufacturing operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily and cyclical purchasing activities
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance supply risk and customer demand
- Use ERP and Excel for purchasing and reporting
- Coordinate vendor onboarding and manage supplier relationships
- Support national procurement strategies and operational goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and environmental standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries

**About You**
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (highly desirable)
- Strong Excel and ERP system skills
- Excellent communication, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to learn technical product and system knowledge
- Financial acumen and sound decision-making
- Stakeholder management and planning capabilities
