Commercial Support Manager

**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Oversee the Contracts, Estimating and Product Sales functions of the Commercial team ensuring that all projected costs are compiled, contribution margins determined and appropriate caveats drafted prior to submitting offers and/or executing agreements with customers.
- Provide commercial support from review of invitation to tenders to contract closure. This includes driving commercial aspects of enquiries forward to secure stakeholder confidence; negotiating terms to customer contracts in support of Team’s business objectives; conducting quotation and contract compliance reviews; developing solutions to mitigate any potential risk whilst administering compliance; and formally executing contracts.
- Responsible for the commercial compliance of tenders, quotations, term contracts and contract renewals and ensuring compliance with all Team processes including business action meetings, quotation approvals, tender submission and contract reviews.
- Review departmental processes and procedures with specific focus on the optimum utilisation of resource and improving process efficiency to ensure best practice and implement corrective action where necessary.
- Coordinate activity across the Commercial team to ensure agreed functional strategies are deployed on time and embedded appropriately within the business.
- Actively work to the Core values within all work based activities.
**Skills and Knowledge required**:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills.
- Ability to multi task.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of legal principles and genuine interest in commercial contracts
- Attention to detail and ability to review lengthy and detailed documents
- Good working knowledge of MS Windows and Office products.
