**About the business**:
Mecon Construction provides clients with a full suite of design and building services and works closely with commercial property management companies ensuring changes and maintenance schedules are carried out to the highest standards.

They are currently seeking a concreting apprentice for their Apprenticeship Program. They are searching for people who are keen to join the concrete industry. The ideal applicant is a safety conscious individual who has a strong interest in the industry.

**About the role**:

- All aspects of the concrete laying process (including digging, raking and trowelling) - starting with simpler tasks and working your way up
- Abiding by workplace health and safety regulations on site
- Working towards completion of the requirements of the trade qualification

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Be punctual, reliable, and hard working
- Display a willingness to learn and take direction
- Be physically fit due to the amount of manual handling involved in the role
- Ensure quality standards are maintained
- Possess an enthusiastic attitude towards their work
- Have current Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
